it's the same name as the team has now...so no surprised they kept it. it is horrible though

heard there's a real good chance Keller leaves the EPL to join seattle for next season

Sounders is the name of the USL 1st Div. club. Apparently, it was also the name of the NASL squad.

It beats some of the other names: Alliance and Republic.

They are gonna play their games at Qwest Field.

looks like Thierry Henry is very unhappy in Barca and, despite wanting to end his career in NY, has a real legit shot at playing for Seattle next year

mex/china match is in Qwest next week...interesting to see what type of crowd they draw

word is Seattle has 13K season tix requests so far...not too shabby

Henry...would be a nice get for Seattle. I wonder if he would actually entertain a move to MLS...he still is in his prime, is he not?
